This collection holds the episodes that travelled furthest: the all-time favourites and the ones that were rising in popularity at any given point in the run. On the front page they surfaced under two standing headings, one for a long-standing favourite and one for whatever was climbing that week, and this page keeps the whole set together in one place.
There is no theme holding them together beyond that. A two-minute show about small things does not really have subjects so much as moments, and the ones that catch on are rarely the ones anybody predicts. What the popular episodes have in common is that somebody heard one and immediately thought of a particular person who needed to hear it too.
How the collection was kept
Episodes moved into this collection on the strength of how often they were played and passed along, rather than by any editorial pick. The rest of the run stays available through the other two collections, which is where an episode goes when it stops being new.
